Salary range per annum: £66,909 - £75,492 + London weighting of £5,094 per annum if applicable

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a nurse with strategic experience working with students to join the RCN Institute of Nursing Excellence. The post holder will be responsible for providing strategic UK leadership of the student membership offer, including the student committee and ambassador programmes and work across the academies of the RCN Institute of Excellence raising the voice of nursing. This post leads and manages a portfolio of work whose purpose is to shape and support excellence in UK student member recruitment, retention, and delivery of programmes of work. The post holder will support the development, delivery and evaluation of the RCN Institute of Excellence operational plan.
You’ll have extensive experience in nursing/healthcare education and/or training, including experience of leading at strategic level and be educated to masters level or above. You’ll have an excellent understanding of the education sector related to nursing and experience of working with students. Experience of leading strategic projects, including budget, timelines and outcomes is essential. You’ll need to have the skills to engage and influence external stakeholders, work alongside, and consult with our student members and manage change. You’ll have track record as a leader and have knowledge of commissioning of nurse education programmes, resources and activities.
